BREAKING NEWS: BÁVARO Higuey.- President Leonel Fernández said that the climate change was one of the greatest challenges for humanity.

As he uttered the closing of the fifth edition of the International Conference of the Americas (CILA 2009), the President said that the next summit in Copenhagen will be a great opportunity for humanity to address this problem.

Talking about climate change is always complex, because when we speak of environmental changing policies we are also talking about changing economic models often based on the economics of oil has provided the first agent.

Start of construction of a fire station

This work is vital for the area, since there is no fire station on this tourist attraction. The businessman Frank Rainieri, president of the Punta Cana Group, was accompanied by the President of the Association of Hoteliers, Ernesto Veloz.

The town hall of Higuey, represented by Karina Aristy and Amable Aristy pledged to donate an ambulance and a rescue truck.

The plots of land for the construction of the houses have been donated by the owners of Manati Park, Javier and Jose Moreno.
